Flying ahead of Papa John's, Pizza Hut, and Papa Murphy's, Domino's have made it to the top by being the largest pizza chain in the United States. Domino's popularity is due to a blend of sound marketing strategies and a large workforce. The pizza chain was making $3.2 billion for worldwide retail sales for 2019 alone.

Back in 1960, the very first Domino shop was opened through the purchase of a pizza place called 'DomiNick's' brothers Tom and James Monaghan. Tom and James used a $900 loan to buy the shop, and decided to share the work hours equally.

Fast forward to 1985, and Domino's became the fastest-growing pizza chain in the United States with more than 2800 locations. Stores started to open from London and Japan to South America, China and India all over the world.
