The COVID-19 pandemic has spread, nearly, across the world. Ironically though, there are several places on earth that have remained unchanged-from the coronavirus up to now.

The table below indicates the countries that did not report any COVID-19 incidents. Those countries include North Korea, Tajikistan, South Sudan, Malawi, Yemen, Burundi and Lesotho.
There are nevertheless major exclamations regarding the current situation in some of those nations. In particular, North Korea is under the spotlight for being mysterious after reports from South Korea that COVID-19 has already spread across the Chinese border into the region. North Korea is notorious for controlling state-run media, and this may be the reason why news about coronavirus has not yet reached the country's global publication.

Several African countries, including Botswana, Burundi, the Comoros, Malawi, Sao Tome and Principe, Sierra Leone and Southern Sudan, also report that they have no cases of coronavirus. Nevertheless, the shortage of testing facilities in the country could well be the cause of undiagnosed cases.
Myanmar, also known as Burma, had managed to remain clear of the virus so far. Yet the country with the most underdeveloped health-care system announced its first case last week. Nevertheless, the virus failed to reach the nations of the Pacific Ocean including the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.

While more than 49,000 deaths and more than 962,000 confirmed coronavirus diagnoses have been registered worldwide.
